Veterans Tom and George today celebrate their 100th birthdays.
During the Second World War, Tom enlisted in the Australian Army in February 1942 and first served as part of the Militia (CMF), before later transferring to the 2nd Australian Imperial Force (AIF).
In January 1942, George was an 18 year old nurseryman, when he enlisted in the Australian Army during the Second World War. He initially served as part of the Militia (CMF) in Victoria and Western Australia (WA) and was posted to the 6th Australian Field Ambulance.
