Australian cricket legend, Rod Marsh, 74, has passed away after suffering a major heart attack last Thursday.
The former wicketkeeper had been in Bundaberg last week to attend a cricket event when he was rushed to hospital in cardiac arrest.
He was transferred to an Adelaide hospital earlier this week where his condition had been described as critical but stable.
Mr Marsh played 96 Tests for Australia between 1970 and 1984, chalking up an incredible 355 dismissals at the stumps.
The 74-year-old also previously served as Cricket Australia’s chairman of selectors before stepping down from the role six years ago.
