To celebrate Seniors Month, and to recognise the talent expressed in the art classes offered by U3As across Queensland, U3A Network Queensland Inc. has announced an inaugural Queensland Arts Competition (QUAC).
The competition is open for the duration of Seniors Month, 1-31 October 2021, and the theme for both categories is ‘Still Learning’.
Entrants are free to interpret the theme in any way they please as long as their entry follows the terms and conditions in all other respects.
Prizes of $300, $150 and $50 plus certificates will be awarded to entrants placed first, second and third in both writing and photography.
The entry fee is $10 for U3A members, $15 for non-members.
