Darling Downs detectives have released vision of two people wanted over the theft of an ATM from a hotel at Meringandan yesterday.
Police say that at around 5am on Tuesday, April 27, a dark grey 2021 Mitsubishi Triton with Queensland registration 276BL5 was stolen from a Leslie Dam property.
“At 12.20am on Wednesday, April 28, two people fuelled the Triton at a Highfields service station and left without paying,” Queensland Police said.
An hour later, Police say two people broke into the bottle shop of a hotel in Main Street and stole a large quantity of alcohol.
“At 2.18am they forced the front door of the hotel open and removed the ATM before loading it into the stolen dark grey Mitsubishi Triton,” Police said.
Anyone who recognises these people, has seen the vehicle, or has further information is urged to contact police.
