Last week St Marys Aged Care home at Coolum Beach in Queensland celebrated longtime resident Bessie’s 101st birthday with a beautiful morning tea and cake in the Hope wing.
Bessie is the oldest resident at the St Marys Coolum beach facility.
She is a mother six children and had a successful career as a nurse in her younger days.
“Her stories are always full of wisdom and life lessons yet her warm smile and positive attitude will bring joy to any person who cares for a chat,” St Marys Aged Care wrote on its Facebook page.
“We are so blessed to have a resident such as Bessie at St Mary’s.”
