Five COVID-19 cases land in NT

Five new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the Northern Territory – all five cases are under the care of NT Health at the Centre for National Resilience in Howard Springs.

The five positive cases arrived on a repatriation flight from New Delhi on Monday. They are two females aged 31 and 35, two males aged 34 and 35, and an 18 month old baby. All cases are displaying mild symptoms, the NT Government said in a statement today.

Since repatriation flights to the Northern Territory began on 23 October 2020:

  • 10,495 international arrivals have undertaken quarantine at the Howard Springs Centre for National Resilience.
  • A total of 135 positive COVID-19 cases have been reported from international repatriation.

The total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is 198. There are currently seven active cases in the territory.
